Brendon Hartley – #6 GEOX DRAGON Penske EV-4:
“We didn’t start season six on the front foot, but I was happy to bring home a couple of points. The crash in FP1 and missing FP2 made race one a real challenge. The team did a fantastic job over night and we had real pace come race two. Another small kiss with the wall in qualifying meant we didn’t start the race up the front, but we had a clean run and moved up from P19 to take ninth place and two points. The race was chaotic and there were lots of little lessons learnt over the course of the weekend. Formula E is unlike any championship I have raced in before and even with all my experience I was definitely a ‘rookie’. I really enjoyed working with the entire GEOX DRAGON team, they are an incredibly motivated and talented bunch of people and I have no doubts that we will make progress from this challenging first weekend at round three. Can’t wait.”
