“We did a near perfect race. Kazuki and Sébastien did great stints and our TOYOTA GAZOO Racing engineers and mechanics were on top of everything. Second was the maximum. I really enjoyed pushing the TS050 to its limits around COTA, felt so good through the fast first sector. Playing with the risk and reward through the traffic is very rewarding when it flows and you get it right, it requires trust and respect between all the other drivers on track. Good feelings.”
